About the Kasukabe City Tourism Association
Sharing "the charms of Kasukabe" with many people. In April 2021, the Kasukabe City Tourism Association made a fresh start as a general incorporated association.

Kasukabe has many attractive tourist experiences for everyone to enjoy.
Kasukabe-juku was the fourth post town on the Nikko Kaido. Signposts from the Nikko Dochu still stand throughout the town, letting you feel its history. Take a break from strolling with local gourmet food. You can also enjoy seasonal flowers: from April to May, the Ushijima wisteria blooms beautifully to welcome visitors. There are also many events that people of all ages can enjoy, such as the Wisteria Festival, the Giant Kite Festival and the Kasukabe Summer Festival.
When you visit Kasukabe, be sure to stop by the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, a gigantic surge tank known as the "Underground Temple." Experience its sheer scale for yourself.
Kasukabe is conveniently located within an hour of central Tokyo. Please enjoy its many attractions. We look forward to welcoming you to Kasukabe.

Purpose
In close cooperation with Kasukabe City and related businesses and organizations, the Association aims to promote the sound development of tourism and industry, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and the enhancement of culture.
Activities
(1) Research, study, conservation and development of tourism resources
(2) Collection and dissemination of tourism information
(3) Planning and development of travel products
(4) Management and operation of tourism facilities
(5) Research, study and product development for local product promotion, sales of local products and operation of shops
(6) Contracted projects contributing to tourism
(7) Tourism-related training and lectures
(8) Holding and supporting events that promote tourism
(9) Tourism projects promoting agriculture, commerce, industry and culture
(10) Training and utilization of tourism volunteers
(11) Liaison and cooperation with organizations engaged in tourism
(12) Other activities necessary to achieve the Association's purpose
Certified as a Category 2 Tourist Information Center
Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Tourist Information Center, Category 2
Plat Kasukabe, the Kasukabe information center run by the Kasukabe City Tourism Association, has been upgraded to a Category 2 Tourist Information Center by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
This recognizes Plat Kasukabe's English-speaking staff on site, its tourist information about the city and the regional information it provides.

Selected as a leading Saitama inbound tourism experience
The Association's "Kasukabe Tour Project" has been selected as a leading inbound tourism experience by Saitama Prefecture.
The Saitama Prefecture Products and Tourism Association invited proposals for experiences to actively promote to overseas visitors, and we applied with the Kasukabe Tour Project. Of the 61 proposals from organizations in the prefecture, 10 were selected—including ours.
As a result, we will take part in business meetings and familiarization tours for travel agencies, and carry out promotions on the web and social media together with Saitama Prefecture and the Saitama Prefecture Products and Tourism Association.
